Scoop Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Scoop Operators are responsible for safely running the scoop to clean and prepare the face area for mining. Including installing ventilation controls and rockdusting.

Requirements

Candidates must have excellent safety and attendance records. MSHA Electrical, Mine Foreman, and Fireboss certifications are preferred, but not required.

Interested applicants must also have up-to-date 32-hour training, be capable of regularly lifting 50 pounds and work rotating shifts and weekends as assigned.
