JOB DESCRIPTION

New Miner position is primarily responsible for duties which include manual labor such as cleaning/shoveling coal, building stoppings, hanging cables, belt and power moves etc. and are considered a New Miner until they complete one (1) full year of employment. This position typically is hired on through a contracting service and is not an employee of Gentry Mountain Mining until they display work ethics consistent with Gentry Mountain Mining standards. REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must display an excellent safety and attendance record.

Interested applicants must have up-to-date 32-hour training, be capable of regularly lifting 50 pounds and work rotating shifts and weekends as assigned.
