Car Operator/Section Utility

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Car Operator/Section Utility position is primarily responsible for transporting coal between the continuous miner and feeder breaker by driving the shuttle car and/or scoop. Other duties will include manual labor such as cleaning coal and equipment with accumulations, cleaning and setting up faces for mining, building stoppings, hanging cables, belt and power moves etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must have an excellent safety and attendance record. Must have a minimum of 1 year underground mining experience.

Interested applicants must have up-to-date 32-hour training, be capable of regulary lifting 50 pounds and work rotating shifts and weekends as assigned.
