JOB DESCRIPTION

The Miner Operator is responsible for efficiently and effectively operating the 12CM12 Joy continuous miner to extract the coal in a manner that is safe for the crew and equipment according to the approved mining plans. Must be able to follow sights and maintain sprays and ventilation while mining.

Requirements

Candidates must have excellent safety and attendance records. Gas card is required. MSHA Electrical, Mine Foreman, and Fireboss certifications are preferred, but not required.

Interested applicants must also have up-to-date 32-hour training, be capable of regularly lifting 50 pounds and work rotating shifts and weekends as assigned.
